Born on April 3, 2003, Ben was a proud son of Burlington, a gifted athlete, and a vibrant young man whose presence brought light and energy to every space he entered.
Ben’s love for hockey began early in life, and through determination, talent, and an unwavering work ethic, he rose to compete in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, representing his hometown with honor. On the ice, he was known for his fierce drive, competitive spirit, and commitment to excellence—qualities that mirrored the strength of his character off the ice as well. Teammates, coaches, and peers speak of him as a leader, a reliable friend, and someone who lifted others with encouragement and positivity.
Yet beyond his athletic achievements, Ben was deeply loved for who he was as a person. Those closest to him describe him as “fierce and stubborn in all the best ways”—devoted, passionate, and wholehearted in everything he did. He adored his parents, Kerri and Dino, and shared a special bond with his younger brother Lucas, with whom he created countless cherished memories.
